Slaim explaining a brain anatomy slide page-by-page

Read → Understand → Memorize → Ask

Per-slide AI explanation of cerebral basal nuclei
Step 01 · Read
Per-slide explanation
Drop your lecture deck in. Slaim reads each slide — diagrams and all — and walks the mechanism in plain language. "Was this clear?" lives at the bottom; confused slides get re-explained with more depth next time.
Full-deck consolidated study guide with sections and tables
Step 02 · Understand
Full-deck summary
Once you've read through, Slaim consolidates the whole lecture — sections, comparison tables, the high-yield throughline. The study sheet you'd write if you had a week. Copy as Markdown into your notes.
Anki Deck tab with cloze and basic flashcards
Step 03 · Memorize
Anki deck, native
Now lock it in. Slaim turns the lecture into cloze + basic cards in a real .apkg — opens in Anki, behaves like a hand-built deck. Add your own, thumb down the weak ones, regenerate smarter.
Chat tab answering a question about a cropped slide region
Step 04 · Ask
Ask in context
Stuck on something? Crop a region of any slide, drop it in chat, get a focused answer with high-yield clinical points. The whole flow, on call whenever you need it.

Upload your deck. Slaim explains every slide, summarizes the whole lecture, and builds the Anki cards. You write on top of any of it.

AI reads the diagram
Not OCR + summary. Slaim looks at each figure — reentry loops, signaling cascades, anatomy — and walks you through the mechanism.

Pipe the slides you want to memorize straight into your Anki deck (.apkg). Slaim doesn't replace Anki — it feeds it.

A tutor that learns where you get stuck

Most AI tools forget you the second you close the tab. Slaim is the opposite — mark a slide confused, thumbs-down a card, retry a chat answer, and the next response targets that signal. The longer you study with it, the more it knows what trips you up.

Live
Mark a slide confused
One tap on Confused → Slaim re-explains the slide with extra depth: step-by-step diagram walkthrough, clinical analogies, and a one-line takeaway.
Live
Thumbs down a card
A weak Anki card disappears with one tap, and Slaim won't make that style again. The deck quality improves with every signal.
Live
"Try again" on a chat answer
If a chat reply missed the mark, one tap retries from a different angle — simpler analogy, different reasoning path. Don't accept a vague answer.

Coming next: Slaim reads your Anki failure rate directly and rewrites the explanation that produced the card you keep missing — automatically.

Anki for memorization.
Slaim for understanding.

Other AI re-summarizes a summary

A slide is already the summary of the lecture. ChatGPT and NotebookLM compress it again, strip the diagram, and lose the part that mattered.

Anki assumes you understand

Great for memorization, useless if you don't get the mechanism yet. Slaim is the step before you start carding.

Two layers, both annotate-able

Per-slide explanation for depth, full-deck summary for context. Write on either, ask either, in your language.

"A slide is already the summary of the lecture. What's missing isn't another summary — it's an explanation layer for the slide itself."
